For?ige is the National Youth Development Organisation, which
promotes and fosters youth development through the operation of
various youth services in urban and rural areas throughout the
country. For?ige is currently recruiting for the following position:
YOUTH OFFICER
PROJECT SUMMARY
This post is funded by the Department of Children, Equality,
Disability, Integration and Youth UBU Your Place Your Space Scheme
through the Dublin and Dun Laoghaire ETB, and is provided and managed
by For?ige.There is currently a vacancy for three Youth Officers, who
will be employed and managed by For?ige to develop and implement the
programme of the Blanchardstown UBU Service in Mulhuddart. The Youth
Officers will work as part of a team and will be involved in the
recruitment of young people into programmes, activities and summer
programmes.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS;
* Education to National Diploma or Degree standard (note: candidates
with exceptional, relevant work experience may also be considered in
lieu of degree qualifications) (E)
* Access to car and full Irish driving licence (E)
