St Ultans Childcare Project: Care & Campus Manager
CARE MANAGER

THE ORGANISATION

St Ultans is a unique campus in Cherry Orchard that provides a
wraparound service to children and young people. The campus
incorporates a primary school, 3 ASD classes, a nursery & early
years? service and a care service that supports **Apply on the
website** children daily in an integrated and co-operative way.

St Ultans places the child at the centre of everything that we do.

The campus incorporates two governance structures, St Ultans Childcare
Project, that has legal responsibility for Early Years, Care and all
services to the campus, and St Ultans Primary School. One person
chairs both boards. There are 3 campus managers each with their own
responsibility and are responsible for day to day running of the
campus.

St Ultans aims to give every child an equitable start and has
developed Integrated Care & Education Plans for children, along with
working closely with Parents/Carers and the community to improve the
lives of all who live in Cherry Orchard.

THE ROLE

The Care Manager will provide effective leadership of St Ultans
integrated campus as one of three campus managers (Care Service
Manager, School Principal, Finance & Services Manager). The Care
manager will have direct responsibility for **Apply on the website**
staff in the following departments

* The Care Service including the Core model of Integrated Care &
Education.
* Early Years? Service
* The Parent Child Plus Programme
* Parent Education Partnership

The key responsibilities within the role of Care Manager are
leadership, and the management of Operations, staff, and finance
Management, along with quality and Data management and stakeholder
relationships.

The Care Manager reports directly to the Board of Directors, playing a
significant role in the strategic direction and implementation of St
Ultans strategic plan.

The role also involves significant engagement with partner agencies
and services, government agencies, the local community and community
groups.

THE PERSON

The successful candidate will be someone with management experience in
the field of community/youth work and have a working knowledge of the
approaches and principals required, to identify needs and design
responses and service delivery.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good leadership
and management skills and have experience of operating at a senior
strategic leadership level within a complex organisation.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills with an
ability to lead, inspire and build relationships with a wide range of
stakeholders at all levels.

Above all, the candidate will be purpose driven, with a strong
commitment to the St Ultans mission and a desire to improve the lives
of children and the community of Cherry Orchard.
