ROOM LEADER POSITION AVAILABLE
FULL TIME (1X **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**HRS)
We are recruiting for a lead educator in our busy Toddler room. A
suitable candidate will take responsibility for ensuring high quality,
best practice standards are maintained in Toddler room and in the
service, generally. This is a key supervisory role, which involves
close co-operation with the Childcare coordinator and other members of
the team. The room leader will be a contact point for all information
related to the room. While ensuring the children are provided
opportunities to learn in a holistic way at group and individual
levels.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Minimum FETAC/QQI level 6 or above in Early Childhood Care and
Education
* Kind, with a genuine passion in Early Childhood Education
* Excellent communication and team player skills
* A positive approach to inclusive practice with children and their
families
* Flexibility to undertake training if requested by Childcare
Coordinator and/or the service.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
* First Aid (FAR)
* Manual handling/fire safety
* Child Safeguarding Training
