PURPOSE:
* The post holder will be responsible for the strategic leadership
and operational management of the organisation
* Proposing and implementing agreed strategic goals and objectives
* Ensuring the effective delivery of a quality service
* Ensuring that Ballyfermot STAR CLG delivers on all regulatory and
governance requirements
* Ensuring prudent financial management

ABOUT BALLYFERMOT STAR CLG
We provide non-judgmental support, guidance, and education to
individuals with problematic substance use, their families, and the
community. Our aim is to reduce harm, empower, and support individuals
and their families to develop recovery pathways. Problematic substance
use affects the individual, their family and the community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
_GOVERNANCE AND STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT_
* Developing, implementing and reviewing the Strategic Plan in line
with local and national priorities
* To monitor actual performance against strategic objectives in a
timely manner
* Communicating and building commitment to the organisation?s
strategic direction among internal and external stakeholders
* Ensuring that all policies, practices and procedures are in
compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
* Taking overall responsibility for the fiscal activities of the
organisation including budgeting, reporting and audit
* Working with the Board to enable it to fulfil its governance
functions and facilitate optimum performance by the Board and its
Committees
