PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

TOGETHER-RAZEM is a registered charity that aims to improve the living
conditions of Polish and Eastern European migrants in Ireland.
Together-Razem provides support in four main areas including advice
and information, education, mental health support and integration. The
organisation provides information, referral and linkage to necessary
supports including social welfare, employment, advocacy around
specific and emerging needs. Currently Together-Razem is delivering
essential services to the Ukrainian refuges in Ireland.

TOGETHER-RAZEM WISHES TO EMPLOY THE PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

The Project Co-ordinator will work in partnership with the
Together-Razem CEO to establish, develop and manage a phone/chat
support service ?Call Tanya? ? Mental Health & Psychosocial
Support (MHPSS) Helpline?.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

The Co-ordinator of the ?Call Tanya? MHPSS Helpline will develop a
unique and accessible Ukrainian language psychosocial and mental
health support service to meet needs of Ukrainian refugees
experiencing symptoms of emotional distress due to the war and
displacement.

THE COORDINATOR WILL;

* Liaise with / report to the CEO in meeting the coordination role
requirements, developing the ?Call Tanya? service and ensuring
adherence to strategic planning goals and timelines;
* Conduct an analysis and needs assessment of psychosocial support
needs of Ukrainian refugees living in Ireland and develop a support
service appropriate/ responsive to these needs;
* Develop policies and procedures for the ?Call Tanya? service,
ensuring adherence to legislative requirements, child and vulnerable
adult safety and Children First, confidentiality policies, GDPR
compliance etc.
* Develop person specification for the ?Call Tanya? Helpline
support worker role to facilitate recruitment of panel of volunteer
UKR speaking trained ?Mental Health Support Champions?.
* Conduct interviews to select suitable candidates to take up
position on volunteer panel to operate the MHPSS helpline.
* Establish terms and conditions for volunteer Helpline recruits and
ensure selected panel candidates understand and agree to adhere to
same for the duration of their involvement with the ?Call Tanya?
MHPSS service.
* Organise a series of trainings for selected panel members i.e.:
psychological first aid, supporting vulnerable adults, listening
skills, Children First, etc. technology training, GDPR,
* Co-ordinate Garda screening and vetting for all panel volunteers.

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT

The Co-ordinator of the Call Tanya MHPSS Helpline will;

* Procure technical expertise to convene and establish the necessary
technology required for development of the ?Call Tanya? MHPSS
service.
* Ensure a ?feedback option? is built into the helpline user
experience, which will provide users with the facility to anonymously
review their support experience.
* Establish connectivity for volunteer panel members under agreed
terms and conditions.
* Procure necessary technology training for panel members to enable
them to operate the ?Call Tanya? MHPSS helpline remotely.
* Establish terms and conditions for secure remote operation of the
helpline.
* Oversee / monitor the effective operation of technology required
for the delivery of the ?Call Tanya? MHPSS service.
* Trouble shoot any technology issues that arise for panel members
via liaison with panel and technology providers.

SERVICE PROMOTION & LAUNCH

The Co-ordinator of the Call Tanya MHPSS Helpline will;

* Develop promotional materials (in Ukr and Eng) for the Call Tanya
MHPSS Helpline to raise awareness of the service, attract callers to
the service and promote its uptake.
* Conduct promotion campaign for the ?Call Tanya? MHPSS service
online / at various network / interagency fora / with services and
community members to promote service and ensure those in need of
support and information can avail of the service.
* Organise a launch event to take place in December **Apply on the
website**, with accompanying publicity, to develop awareness of the
service amongst Ukrainians living in Ireland and Irish community
members interacting with Ukrainians - such as host families, support
workers, agencies etc.

SERVICE MANAGEMENT:

* Build panel team: Promote, interview and recruit volunteer staff
team with necessary qualifications, skills and qualities for the
?Call Tanya? support line.
* Training: devise training programme and ensure volunteer team
engage in and complete necessary training to enable them to carry out
the support role on the ?Call Tanya? helpline.
Over time, build ?Call Tanya? panel capacity and levels of
expertise as required in response to demand and nature of support
required.
* Create conditions for smooth operation of the ?Call Tanya?
service through; technical equipping of panel for remote work, ongoing
devising systems for support and supervision of panel members,
identification and meeting of training needs, troubleshooting of
issues arising, monitoring of team and service user feedback etc.
* Develop a system of supervision for panel members in conjunction
with TR psychotherapist and CEO. Monitor and assess the effective
operation of same.
* Assist panel members with recognition of relevant qualifications
and accreditation. Devise a support plan for progression of
accreditation of panel members. Liaise with accreditation bodies and
education providers to support accreditation process.
* Monitor and record data on helpline access, usage levels and
helpline service user experience.
* Collate data, including Helpline access, evaluation and client
feedback, analyse and write reports.
* Provide feedback on service development with recommendations for
service enhancement to Together-Razem in liaison with the CEO.
* Network to promote ?Call Tanya? service, to develop referral
pathways, build own and panel expertise on referral options for
callers, including a variety of formal and informal support services,
mental health supports, non-medical models such as social prescribers,
local groups/facilities etc sharing with the panel.
* Liaise with the panel and TR CEO regarding identification of and
collation of data on topical / frequently occurring issues for callers
to the helpline. Facilitate anonymized highlighting of same at
appropriate fora with service providers to assist state and NGO
responsiveness.
* Liaise with Together-Razem Ukrainian psychotherapist / trauma
counsellor in developing, managing referrals to and coordinating an
online Ukrainian refugee support group to be facilitated by TR
psychotherapist / a rotation of panel co-facilitators.
* Liaise with Together-Razem Ukrainian psychotherapist / trauma
counsellor in establishing referral pathways to the Together-Razem
trauma counselling and psychotherapy service and an online Ukrainian
refugee support group.
* Explore funding opportunities to enable continuance of the ?Call
Tanya? Helpline beyond the initial one year funded period.

GARDA VETTING

To comply with our Child Safeguarding policy, we require that all
staff (and volunteers) at all levels complete a satisfactory Garda
vetting process.

SALARY

WORKING HOURS, PATTERNS, AND ENVIRONMENT

extension when funding is available

* Due to the nature of the work of Together-Razem, occasional
evening and weekend work may be required.
* Overtime is not paid but time in lieu can be agreed with the CEO.

REPORTING TO: CEO

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

* A relevant third level qualification- minimum level 7 (Community
Development / Psychotherapy/ Social Care / Voluntary Sector Management
)
* Candidates may have a minimum qualification of a primary degree in
Counselling/ Psychotherapy, Counselling Psychology, or Family Therapy.
* Full accreditation with the relevant professional body is
desirable.

A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS? EXPERIENCE IN:

* Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience,
working with communities / families / children / individuals with a
range of needs in settings such as:

* Mental health care / psychosocial support or community-based
setting
* Working with migrant community / vulnerable community groups
* Community development focused project or agency
* community / health / care sector project management
* Staff / team Supervision and support
* Implementing a governance framework informed by best practice

* Candidates should have:

* Familiarity with?Children First & Vulnerable adults policies
* Experience of working collaboratively at an inter-agency level
* Experience of Strategic Planning and Financial Management (to
include sourcing funds)
* Experience in Managing a staff team
* Experience of project development and management
* Excellent report writing skills

* Knowledge of Ukrainian/Russian languages desirable but not
essential.
