DON BOSCO CARE IS SEEKING TO RECRUIT AN EXPERIENCED AND HIGHLY
MOTIVATED AFTERCARE WORKER TO JOIN OUR TEAM.

The Management and staff of Don Bosco Care, strive to work in close
partnership with the young people, their families, Social Workers and
other professionals in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for
the young people.

SOME KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

* A qualification that will entitle the post holder to Social Care
registration with a minimum of three year?s relevant experience is
essential.
* Knowledge of rights and entitlements of aftercare leavers.
* A good understanding of addiction and the physical, mental and
emotional side effects.
* Managing challenging behaviours.
* Crisis management prevention and intervention.
* Lone working experience.
* Experience of working with young people with complex needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Applicants should have a Level 7 Degree in any of the following:
Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Social Science, Youth and
community Work, Psychology.
* A competitive salary is offered commensurate with qualifications
and experience.
* This is a permanent position and requires the successful
completion of a probationary period.
* Regular supervision and team support will be offered to the
successful candidate.
* A full driving licence Class B is a requirement for this role.
