APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION

FUNDRAISING EXECUTIVE

8 HOURS IN A FLEXIBLE MANNER, COMPETITIVE SALARY

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, energetic and
enthusiastic person to complement the Team at Belvedere Youth Club CLG
(BYC). We have an immediate vacancy for a Fundraising Executive based
in Dublin 1.

ABOUT BELVEDERE YOUTH CLUB

BYC is a youth service based in the North East Inner City (NEIC) of
Dublin which has been working with young people in this community
since **Apply on the website**. Staffed by a team of specialists and
professional youth work teams, BYC provides a range of services and
supports to our young people, including a drop in service, an
extensive after school programme, a targeted youth work programme, a
Summer residential programme, educational supports, evening and night
time activity based programmes, all delivered by our team of
professional youth workers & youth work assistants.

Dublin?s North East Inner City has been one of the most
disadvantaged and marginalised communities not just in Dublin, but
nationally. Study after study has highlighted the impact of this
social disadvantage. The community ? and the young people with whom
BYC works - are affected by high levels of unemployment, exposure to
street level drug and alcohol misuse, poor health and associated
health outcomes and a lack of access to structured social and leisure
activities. Young people have been particularly affected by recent
years of austerity cuts, compounding historically low levels of
educational attainment and progression.

BYC?s aim is to provide a comprehensive youth service to young
people in the NEIC.

In that context, BYC teams work together to implement a model that
allows for universal programmes (after school and week day evening
programmes), complemented by more targeted youth work interventions.
This delivery model has been developed with the aim of engaging our
young people from the ages of **Apply on the website** years. Through
this contact time, young people are identified and supported to
participate in more structured strands of youth work including in the
following programme areas:

* Informal Educational Support
* Issued Based Programmes
* Gaisce Awards
* Sports Inclusion
* Outdoor Activities
* Arts & Crafts
* Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Media
* Music, Drama and Youth Theatre

In addition to the above BYC also has its on dedicated Outreach team
to engage our harder to reach young people.

BYC is heavily reliant on corporate funding to deliver its services
hence the opportunity for a fundraising executive to join the team.

THE ROLE:

The successful applicant will report to the General Manager and the
fundraising committee, which is a sub-committee of the Board.

The main duties involved include:

* _The maintenance and updating of the Sales Force database to ensure
all contacts with supporters and donors are kept current._
* _The creation of a regular quarterly reporting package with
varying levels of detail for supporters and donors._

donors who are funding specific programmes._

required for larger fundraising events such as the cycle and golf
outings._

website and social channels._
* _Input into maintaining and developing the BYC Justgiving
