ABOUT OUR CLIENT
gl?r is a multi-disciplinary arts centre located in the heart of

a caf? and a bar. In addition to hosting a substantial programme of
local, national and international performances, events and visual
arts, gl?r supports artists in a range of ways, and it facilitates
the development of new work that reflects and responds to the creative
landscape of Clare. Whilst gl?r has a particular interest in and
focus on the traditional arts, its programme reflects a wide variety
of artforms and thrives on connectivity, diversity and accessibility.

centre of excellence.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Board of gl?r Music DAC seeks to appoint an outstanding and
talented individual for the position of Director, who will lead the
organisation with passion, imagination, and dedication in the next
phase of its development and artistic achievement.
The Director will curate gl?r?s programme and oversee its
implementation as well as the management of all aspects of the arts
centre. Reporting to the Chair and Board, the successful candidate
will be responsible for ensuring that the centre achieves its
artistic, audience and financial objectives.
Experience in strategy development and financial management skills are
essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional
leadership, relationship management and communication skills and have
a proven track record of advocacy and promotion.

artistic and programmatic elements of this role with the managerial
demands of running a leading arts centre, we would welcome an
