WEXFORD MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION is a registered charity organisation
led by volunteers with an interest in mental health. Members include
people from the local community, people with lived experience, family
supporters and carers as well as professionals working in the mental
health area. Through the work of this service, activities, educational
programmes, and projects are organized and realized which reflect the
needs of local community and support national policies including, The
National Framework for Recovery, Sharing the Vision, as well as Mental
Health Ireland Strategy, Mental Health for All, Hope Strength &
Action.
Wexford Mental Health Association is working with Mental Health
Ireland to grow and expand their work supporting and promoting mental
health awareness in communities and contributing to Recovery
initiatives. This work is achieved by engaging with local partnerships
and gaining access to funding and grants. To assist with this vital
work, they are recruiting an Operations Manager to support the
developing structure and continued partnership journey towards the
establishment of a Recovery and Wellbeing Hub in Wexford.
Applicants will have a strong and demonstrable commitment to step into
a new and exciting role, requiring the ability to build strong
relationships, bring organisational skills, line management
experience,? general office management skills as well as a keen
interest in mental health and promoting awareness.
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
* Understanding of mental health promotion activities and recovery.
* Strong administration skills
* Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
* Leadership skills
