A PARTNERSHIP WITH AFRICA?(APA) is an Irish Charity which supports a
partnership-based approach to development wherever it works -
presently in Ethiopia and Tanzania. Since its charitable founding in

We are seeking a new Team member to join a small office team on a part
time basis.

JOB TITLE:?ADMINISTRATION AND ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

extension (with probation period of three months)

HOURS: Part time: Flexible hours

LOCATION: Primarily office based

REMUNERATION: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

JOB PURPOSE: To support APA office administration and develop systems
for best practice in organisational development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Development and maintenance of organisational policies and
procedures and the promotion of a compliance culture and knowledge
sharing throughout the organisation.
* Review and update office files & assist with project documentation
* Provide administrative support to the wider APA Team by liaising
with key suppliers, keeping processes and relevant team documents up
to date, and providing ad-hoc support on campaigns when needed.
* General office management and administration, maintaining
efficient filing and information systems Process order requisitions,
invoices, and payments in liaison with the Finance Team
* Undertake project work, campaigns and research as required.
* Carry out training, workshops and webinars as appropriate on
implementation of policies for staff including charity shop staff
* Liaise with charity shop staff on logistics of collection,
delivery & recycling of donated goods
* Assist with compliance matters
* Assist with project documentation
* Assist with promoting fundraising & awareness

ESSENTIAL:

* At least 2 years working in the NGO/voluntary sector
* Experience of developing relationships with a variety of
stakeholders
* Experience with office administration and familiarity with GDPR
protocols
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Good computer and IT skills.
* Experience in staff facilitation and upskilling

DESIRABLE:

* Experience in an International Non-Governmental Organisation a
distinct advantage
* Experience of corporate governance an advantage

PERSONAL SKILLS

* Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to operate as
part of a small team.
* Ability to work independently ability and to work well with others
in a small team
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent spoken and written English.
* Empathy with APA Values
