for loved ones such as children or adults with physical or
intellectual disabilities, frail older people, the terminally ill or
those suffering from chronic illnesses or addiction.

Through a national network of centres and a National FreePhone

Carers Ireland provides essential supports and services including
information and advocacy on rights and entitlements, advice on care
planning and crisis support, networking groups and social events and
help in accessing essential respite breaks.

Our vision is an Ireland in which family carers are properly
recognised, supported and empowered.

THE PROJECT

Presently, staff across all functions within the Carer Supports
Department use a number of data management systems to note carer
engagement and to produce metrics regarding same. These systems are:

* Sage CRM
* Carers? Outcome Star
* CORE

We are inviting tenders from a suitably qualified DATA BASE
DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL to work intensively with us to:

* Review and revise the data sets captured through Sage CRM in order
to align with current planning and reporting requirements;
* Automate output reporting to a location and format that is
accessible through POWER BI;
* Work with us to design and develop, through POWER BI, a real time
Carer Supports Data Deck.

THE SUCCESSFUL TENDERER

The successful tenderer will show, through their tender documentation,
relevant third level qualifications and a proven track record in the
following areas:

* Significant experience (minimum 2 years) working with SAGE CRM and
other client relationship management systems
* Familiarity with POWER BI
* Strong analytical skills and a track record in analysing existing
databases and our needs going forward with regard to developing
effective systems.
* Good communication skills, both oral and written.?As this
position requires working with colleagues across the Department,
it?s important that the successful tenderer communicates clearly
with team members to fully understand our needs.
* Sound accuracy and logic accurately develop databases in a logical
manner

In order to exemplify the above, tenderers who move to interview stage
will be required to show evidence of the above, including examples of
completed database development processes and projects.
