ELEARNING TRAINING MODULE FOR DESSA
BACKGROUND The Disability Equality Specialist Support Agency (DESSA)
invites tender submissions from experienced eLearning providers to
design, develop and support an eLearning training module for DESSA.
The eLearning training module will be used by staff and volunteers
working in children and young people’s services and in the broader
Community & Voluntary sector. It will enhance understanding and
awareness of disability as a human rights and social inclusion issue
and will support staff and volunteers to reflect on and improve their
This is a partnership initiative between DESSA and four Children and
Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC’s) in Dublin South City,
Dublin South, Waterford and Wexford.
DESSA is a national community development organisation working to
support the full and equal participation of disabled people in Irish
society by creating inclusive and non-disabling communities.
CYPSC’s are county-based interagency structures that plan and
co-ordinate actions to improve outcomes for children, young people and
