DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE OF WORK

The Health Service Executive are seeking a web designer to develop a
website for an aspect of its mental health services in Dublin and
Wicklow: ARCHES Recovery College.

WHO WE ARE

ARCHES means Advancing Recovery in Community Healthcare East Services.
ARCHES Recovery College is a publicly funded, mental health service
user led service operating since **Apply on the website**. Our team
are service users, supporters/family members, and mental health
professionals who work together to develop and deliver meaningful,
evidence informed education programmes that promote mental health
recovery, personal growth, and wellbeing. We value hope, optimism, and
the power to change and grow.

WHERE WE WORK

We are based in the grounds of Clonskeagh Hospital in Dublin. However,
we work across Dublin South East, Cluain Mhuire, and East Wicklow
catchment areas and some of our educational programmes are also
provided online.

HOW WE HELP SERVICE USERS AND THEIR FAMILIES/SUPPORTERS

We offer courses, talks, peer support, keyworking, and social events
that foster the knowledge, skills, and abilities that can help a
person manage life challenges and live a meaningful and fulfilling
life. We also offer community and the opportunity to learn from shared
experiences and develop new coping strategies. ARCHES Recovery College
is a place for being, becoming, and belonging.

HOW WE HELP MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

We support mental health professionals to deliver mental health
services using the Recovery Approach. This involves respecting and
applying the lived experience of people who use mental health services
and their family members/supporters to achieve the outcomes they
aspire to. We contribute to improving the quality of mental health
care and treatment by helping develop services committed to inclusion,
collaborative decision making, positive risk-taking, and human rights.
The Recovery Approach is central to modern, innovative, and humanised
mental health services internationally.

WHAT WE NEED FROM A WEBSITE

* A mobile friendly and easy use and navigate website that presents
clear calls to action.
* An elegant, warm, aesthetic, minimal, design (think nature,
creativity, and hope) that reflects the ARCHES Recovery College brand.
* An excellent intuitive, memorable visitor user experience (UX).
* An event calendar for displaying our prospectus in real time.

* An intuitive booking system (where our prospectus is presented as
individual courses and people just have to click on the course and are
then invited to enter their details to register). There is no need to
set up a payment system as we are part of the free public HSE service.
We need a back end that collates these data and allows us to compile
lists of attendees. Automatic reminder emails would also be helpful.
