The aim of the Listen Project is to provide young people, **Apply on

community where, with the support of a qualified counsellor, they can
talk about, feel heard, and reflect on issues that are important to
them. The aim of the sessions is to support young people to recognise
their own strengths and develop new coping skills, so that they can
feel more confident and hopeful about their future.
The service was established in response to needs and gaps in the
catchment area, particularly with regard to localised provision for
accessible and timely supports for mental wellbeing. This service aims
to meet this need by providing community-based youth counselling for

The successful candidates will deliver sessional counselling to young
people who seek support through the Listen Project.? Each young
person can avail of up to 9 sessions free of charge with an allocated
Counsellor. A panel of Counsellors will operate for this project,
which will be matched to the needs of young people wishing to avail of
