JOB TITLE: Social Care Manager

REPORTING TO: Service Manager

LOCATION: Dublin

CONTRACT: Full Time Permanent

Offering the opportunity to lead a team working with Separated
Children Seeking International Protection.

We work exclusively with Separated Children in our homes in Dublin.

Some of these children may have high levels of vulnerability and have
experienced significant trauma. Many face problems and challenges on
issues including separation and bereavement from family and friends,
social isolation, language barriers, emotional and mental health
problems, discrimination, and racism. In addition, they are living
with the anxiety of possible removal from the country or uncertainty
as to their future.

They also exhibit extraordinary resilience having undertaken a major
life change by leaving their country of origin as a child and travel
to Europe alone to seek safety.

Hata. Homes offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team of Social
Care Workers who are dedicated to improving the life chances of these
children. We have a strong focus on community integration. This
includes improving the wellbeing and outcomes for children, measured
through our therapeutic Model and Framework WELL TREE MODEL OF CARE.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Candidates must hold a minimum level 8 Social Care Degree.
Candidates must also have 5 years? experience of working in a social
care grade with children. OR
* A level 7 Social Care Degree plus a relevant management
qualification suitable for a health care or social care setting plus 5
years??experience of working in a social care grade in with
children. OR
* A level 7 Degree in a related and relevant field and a relevant
management qualification suitable for a health care or social care
setting plus 5 years? experience working in a social care grade with
Children plus have previously been the manager of a registered centre
with the ACIMS within the past 3 years from the time of application.
