JOB TITLE: COORDINATOR

EMPLOYER: The Coordinator will be employed by the Canal Communities
Local Drug & Alcohol Task Force CLG (CCLDATF).

TENURE: 2 years _(Please note that while the position is now
considered an interim one, it is possible that it may become permanent
I the future)._

HOURS OF WORK: The contract will be for a **Apply on the

WORKING WEEK: A working week will be regarded as 5 days or **Apply on
the website** hours. The appointee may be required to work additional
hours outside the normal working day from 9:**Apply on the website**
a.m. to 5:**Apply on the website** p.m. They will receive time off in
lieu instead of payment in respect of additional hours worked.

LOCATION: **Apply on the website** Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, Dublin

ORGANISATIONAL AREA: Canal Communities area: Bluebell, Inchicore, and
Rialto within the designated HSE region.

REPORTING ARRANGEMENT: The Coordinator will be responsible to, and by
guided by, the CCLDATF Board. She/he will report to the Chairperson on
an on- going basis. The Coordinator will be required to attend all
meetings of the Board and of the Task Force, and will submit a monthly
written report for the Board and the whole Task Force.

SALARY: The salary will be commensurate with experience and based on

website**,**Apply on the website** p.a. It will be fixed for the
duration of the 2-year contract.

PROBATION: The appointment is subject to a probation period of six
months.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE: The overall aim of the CCLDATF CLG is to bring
together a range of community and voluntary organisations and groups,
statutory agencies, service users and other relevant stakeholders in
order to address the causes and consequences of drug and alcohol
misuse in the Canal Communities area.

The Coordinator will play a pivotal role in assisting the Task Force
to develop, implement and review its local drugs and alcohol strategy.
She/he will take a pro-active role in driving the work of the Task
Force and managing its day-to-day operation.
