Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI) is looking for a part-time
Key Worker to work within the Open Opportunity Service to commence in
January **Apply on the website**. The role will involve the
coordination and delivery of a bespoke and person-centred daily
programme for service users within the day service living with the
condition spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus.

The position is offered on a part-time basis (**Apply on the website**
hrs p/week) working in the Day Service Location in Castleknock.

We are seeking someone with experience in day service provision,
clinicians, holistic skills, education, training, employment or
project management, who carries a passion for facilitating real-life
change and supporting individuals with spina bifida and/or
hydrocephalus. With relevant vocational skills and professional
qualifications and compassion, you will seek to meet the needs of
service users within this vital daily service.

This is a challenging role in a charity setting, demands on your
capabilities will be tested and we require someone who thrives on
overcoming tough situations with initiative and high levels of
self-motivation. You will be fully supported by a hands-on CEO, and
the Open Opportunity Programme Manager, as well as the wider team of
your SBHI colleagues who combine to facilitate life-changing work on
behalf of everyone affected.

Your own car and a clean driving licence is preferable, however not
entirely necessary. Mileage costs are reimbursed for all work-related
travel expenses subject to available budget for this purpose.
