POSITION: LEARNER VOICE PROJECT OFFICER

LOCATION:?This role is based in AONTAS, the National Adult Learning
Organisation, **Apply on the website** Main St, Ranelagh, Dublin 6.
AONTAS provides a flexible working approach. Therefore, this role will
allow for both at-home and in-office working through a hybrid work
model.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide administrative, research and event management support to
the Head of Research in the implementation of the National Further
Education and Training Learner Forum.

Administrative, event and research support includes but is not limited
to:

* Support the development and delivery of the National FET Learner
Forum
* Support the organisation of National FET Learner Forum events,
including event execution, facilitator coordination, and the
procurement of venues and transport
* Contribute to the development of National FET Learner Forum
regional and national reports
* Maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including
Education and Training Boards (ETBs), key contacts and learners
* Support the Head of Research and Head of Finance with the
organisation of invoices related to the National FET Learner Forums
* Organise opportunities for adult learners to participate fully at
all AONTAS events and support projects aimed at building capacity for
learners as advocates
* Collaborate with AONTAS communications team to ensure the broad
experiences of adult learners and best practice are shared through a
range of platforms, including the development of press releases, blogs
and learner stories

REQUIREMENTS

CORE REQUIREMENTS

* Experience in administrative support
* Knowledge of and/or experience in the further/adult/community
education sector
* Event organisation experience
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Proficient in database management and Microsoft Office packages

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

* Strong written and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to meet targets and work to deadlines among a team
setting
* Knowledge and/ or experience in the adult and community education
in Ireland
