Based in Killeshandra, and work with families and young people to
support Family life in a variety of contexts. We are now recruiting
for the post of:
PART TIME YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER
(**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS WEEKLY EXCLUDING BREAKS )
POSITION REQUIRES:
Working on a one to one outreach basis to develop and support young
people within the Beacon Family support Programme. Someone who has
experience with working with young people and dealing with a multitude
of issues been able to be an advocate for them. Been able to work as
part of a team and with other agencies, and to take direction from
line Management when required.
CANDIDATES WILL BE EXPECTED TO HAVE:
* A third level qualification in youth work or a relevant field.
* At least 3 years? experience of youth work/community work,
social Care .
* Proven organisational, report writing and record keeping skills;
* Experience in computer applications;
* Ability to deal with young people & their Families & maintain
confidentiality.
