Due to expansion in the Organisation we are recruiting for the
following:

TEAM LEADER / PIC- RESIDENTIAL

Initiatives work positively alongside people with autism, their
families and carers providing specialist services tailored to each
individual.

We are looking for a resilient and friendly TEAM LEADER/PIC to join a
team that works in partnership with people who use our services, to
enable them to live as independently as possible and to be part of
their local community. Staff are required to work shifts on a rota
basis, including evenings, weekends and may also be required to
complete sleep-in duties.

A FULL DEGREE IN SOCIAL CARE/ STUDIES OR RELEVANT 3RD LEVEL
QUALIFICATION AT DEGREE LEVEL IE; SOCIAL WORK, PSYCHOLOGY IS
ESSENTIAL, (or relevant qualification received outside the state
recognised by NARIC equivalent to Irish level 8)

In return, Autism Initiatives will provide you with a full induction
and ongoing learning to support you to obtain qualifications pertinent

The successful candidate will be afforded all necessary training and
development in line with the role.

SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED OF A TEAM LEADER/PIC

* Two years Management experience with responsibility for a team of
employees.
* Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating
to the Social Care Sector
* Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
* Proven ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to work alone in coordinating and managing developing
services.
* Proven experience in the implementation and development of
support/care plans and PCP?s
* Fluent English and excellent communication skills
* Full, drivers licence
