JOB TITLE: National Membership Development Manager

REPORTS TO: Senior Business Administrator

LOCATION: Location Independent (Hybrid attendance with Min of two days
in the Head Office base in D?n Laoghaire)

JOB TYPE: 2 year Contract, Full-time

IAHIP provides professional accreditation, support, training and
education for our psychotherapist members. We set and maintain the
standards relevant to humanistic and integrative psychotherapy
training and practice in Ireland. As the largest accrediting body for
psychotherapists in Ireland, IAHIP represents our members in various
fora at national level.

_OVERALL JOB ROLE PURPOSE:_

The purpose of this role is to lead the member support development
plan for IAHIP throughout Ireland in line with the IAHIP strategy.
This role will play a pivotal part in developing the regional
framework of support to IAHIP members with the objective of generating
active membership engagement. The successful candidate will work
closely with other stakeholders to deliver a membership support
development plan in the different regions to allow our members feel
engaged, valued and supported. Membership development is essential to
the long-term growth of the association, this role will develop
programs for engagement, retention and membership growth.

_MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:_

* Review the existing support framework for members and develop a new
regional support framework for approval by the IAHIP Governing Body.
* Facilitate membership feedback to understand their needs and
requirements to deliver a membership support framework that is best in
class and in line with IAHIP strategy.
* Implement the approved members? support development plan against
agreed KPIs.
* Develop and drive initiatives / programmes that engage the IAHIP
members and enhance our members? overall experience.
* Develop plans for membership retention and recruitment.
* Ensure ongoing membership support and engagement programme
excellence.
* Document the process for membership support framework and
engagement.
* Develop and deliver a consistent member experience across the
regions.
* Develop and present regular reports on membership metrics.
* Actively engage and develop strong relationships with recognised
training colleges to encourage students to join IAHIP.
* Retain the link with courses (current and future) to promote IAHIP
to students and guide them through queries about accreditation. Attend
relevant College Open Days and other gatherings relevant to the
promotion of IAHIP.
* Liaise with IAHIP?s social media communications officer.

_TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:_

* Bachelor?s Degree in Business / Marketing or equivalent work
experience.
* Min 3 years prior experience of delivery in a similar role at a
national level.
* Prior experience of developing and delivering membership
development and engagement programmes.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and grow relationships with key
stakeholders. (Colleges, Students, Regional Groups, Networks and
Forums, Supervision)
* Ability to prioritise, collaborate and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
* Proven ability of delivering results to achieve goals.
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills, membership engagement
skills and the ability to liaise and present at all levels.
* Must be self-motivated, flexible and proactive.
* Ability to work flexible hours to facilitate programme
initiatives.
* This role has a national remit where travel to regional areas will
be required, the individual will need to have access to their own car
and hold a full clean driving licence.
* Strong working knowledge of CRM, Database Management and MS
Office.
