For?ige is the National Youth Development Organisation, which
promotes and fosters youth development through the operation of
various youth services in urban and rural areas throughout the
country. For?ige is currently recruiting for the following position:
PROJECT WORKER
PROJECT SUMMARY
The youth work service in the South Donegal CFSN area is funded by
Tusla and is provided and managed by For?ige. The Project Worker will
be employed by For?ige to develop and implement youth work programmes
and interventions in the South Donegal CFSN for young people aged 8 -

recruitment of young people who present with different levels of needs
from universal to those who present with more complex high level
situations. The work will involve the establishment and facilitation
of group work and individual interventions, the development and
implementation of programmes and the recruitment of adult volunteers.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS;
* Education to National Diploma or Degree standard (note: candidates
with exceptional, relevant work experience may also be considered in
lieu of degree qualifications).
* Access to car and full Irish driving licence
* Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of For?ige?s
philosophy and approach to youth work and engaging young people
