The role of the Assistant Mission Development Officer (AMDO) is to
support the work of the Mission Development Officer (MDO) of the
Salesian Sisters in working with their mission projects in the
developing world. This will include steering projects worldwide to
ensure effective project design, implementation, monitoring, and
evaluation. It will require an ability to relate to project teams in
the field, as well as an understanding of a missionary approach to
development. Requirements include a good knowledge and understanding
of Project Cycle Management processes, project proposal, financial and
report writing skills, IT skills in MS Office suite. A third level
qualification in International Development or equivalent (Masters
desirable).
This is a part-time ( * hours per week) position
with remote working.
