Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ATEX / BIOTECH / PHARMA
Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (ATEX / BIOTECH / PHARMA)

industry and our products are known globally.

We are looking to recruit a Mechanical engineer to join us on an
initial **Apply on the website** month contract. You will play a key
part in the maintenance and repair of plant and infrastructure
components and equipment.

You will be responsible for the execution of maintenance and support
work activities associated with process and utility equipment to
ensure that all Plant and Facilities Equipment are maintained to meet
customer and regulatory requirements. Undertake development
assignments that require equipment/maintenance expertise such as
energy management programme, project support, risk assessment
programme, reliability and OEE initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

* Maintain all manufacturing and utility equipment according to the
RCM and PM program.

* Perform and record preventative maintenance and calibration
schedules on all manufacturing and service equipment as specified in
the maintenance procedures.

* Fault find, resolve Process and utility equipment issues/breakdowns
and provide written reports on equipment so that equipment is
available to meet the manufacturing and development schedules.

* The technician is responsible for maintenance of production
equipment, utility equipment and carrying out all activities in a safe
manner. The technician has a personal duty to escalate or resolve
potential safety risks or safety observations.

* Support Projects for equipment installations as required.

* Undertake installation work.

* Keep accurate records of calibrations / maintenance / preventative
maintenance and traceability.

* Undertake further training as required to enhance skills.

* Collaborate with the Quality and Production ensuring that all
calibration and corrective maintenance is in compliance with GMP
directives.

* Assist in developing calibration & maintenance routines and critical
spares listings for new equipment.

* Logging of task information through site CMMS and self issuing of
spare parts with full updating of spare parts inventory management
system

Education

* Trade qualified

Technical

* Machining principles and practices - Welding, turning, milling,
grinding, cutting.

* Air handling systems, air conditioning and refrigeration,

* Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems

* Control Valves, and temperature, pressure, flow measuring systems

* Equipment installation practice and Equipment validation

* Facilities Systems Knowledge and overview, clean room paneling

* Overview of Control systems

* Steam distribution system.

* Lubrication

* Motors, Pumps, Compressors, Chillers

* Troubleshooting skills (mechanical)

* Safety and Health, LOTO, Hot Work and permit systems

* Piping systems
