RESPONSIBILITIES
* Install and commission Applied Materials manufactured
semiconductor equipment
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as required on
Applied Materials equipment.
* Perform assigned task effectively to maintain a high level of
customer satisfaction
* Proactively takes ownership of technical issues
* Plan and communicate support plans with customer team
* Adopt Applied Materials business processes and programs (return
parts procedures, Tool downs, Safety)
* Must comply with current safety systems and participate in
creating a safe working environment
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
* Experience with the operation and use of hand tools, electrical
meter, oscilloscopes and other specialized equipment
* Must be able to communicate effectively with customers in a
dynamic environment.
* Aptitude to work and communicate within a team and a cultural
diverse organization
* Uses problem solving skills to maintain complex systems, and use
Applied Materials knowledge and best practice to support equipment
performance
* Owns individual technical and professional development
* Ability to adapt, change and learn within a day to day challenging
environment
* Flexibility to work overtime and/or travel on short notice and in
an clean room environment (with protective clothing
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
* Previous hands-on work exposure and advantage (Mechanical,
Electrical, Electronic)
* Previous experience gained with repair equipment is an advantage
