Our client is seeking a level 3 infrastructure support engineer to
work as part of their onsite service team. This is an opportunity to
join a successful, growing organisation and team with a very strong
ICT reputation in the Irish Market. As a Systems Support Engineer,
your focus will provide a high level of professionalism and service.
You will be responsible for supporting the back office environment
which supports over 2,**Apply on the website** end users across
multiple platforms using industry leading technologies.

You will get exposure across VMware, WSUS, Windows servers, EMC
storage, Veeam and Commvault.

Responsibilities:

Provide Level 3 support as and where required.

Investigation and diagnose all reported and escalated incidents.

Responsible for management of IT monitoring systems and identify the
appropriate resolution in the event management system using Datto
Autotask.

Support and deploy solutions for Active Directory and Group Policy.

Manage and maintain the VMware environment.

Manage and maintain the infrastructure.

Keep all patching up to date.

Ensure all ECU patching is implemented on a monthly basis.

Ensure SEP Anti Virus solution is updated with the latest releases.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation as it relates to IT
topology, equipment, and configurations.

Act as a mentor to other team members, i.e. coaching in the delivery
of projects, tasks and/or troubleshooting exercises

Produce high-quality documentation to support workarounds and/or
resolutions to assist in knowledge transfer and efficiencies

Using industry and company best practice and information, provide
improvement and efficiency suggestions to our client&#**Apply on the
website**;s existing processes on an ongoing basis.

Skills & Experience:

5+ years experience in a System Admin or similar type of role

Must have Windows & Active Directory Skills at Server Level

Must have O**Apply on the website** experience.

Must have VMware experience.

SCCM image packaging and deployment and management experience.

Must have Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft platforms and services.

Experience with Veeam and Commvault would be nice but not essential

Be familiar with Patch management using WSUS

Be familiar with Symantec end point protection.

Be familiar with Asset management solutions.

Strong willingness to learn and upskill
