Information Security Systems Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fidelity is looking for a cyber security professional to join the
Threat Intelligence team in the Enterprise CyberSecurity (ECS)
organization.

The Threat Intelligence team enables Fidelity to proactively prevent,
detect, and understand past, current, and future cyber incidents with
a vision towards predictive intelligence-driven cybersecurity.

THE EXPERTISE WE?RE LOOKING FOR
* Bachelor Degree in a relevant domain such as Computer Science or
Engineering
* 5+ years of IT experience
* Preferred: 3+ years of hands on Cyber Security experience
* Preferred: Military/Law Enforcement cyber threat analysis
experience
* Preferred: Security Operations Center (SOC) or Network Operations
Center (NOC) experience
* Preferred: Industry certifications in cyber security incident
management, such as GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),and other related
credentials

THE SKILLS YOU BRING

GENERAL ANALYTICAL SKILLS
* Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to
prioritize work
* Functional understanding ofinformation security program(s) in the
financial sector
* Deep understanding of cyberthreats, malicious cyber threat actor
motivations, and capabilities relevant to regions of interest
* Proven ability to work with and understand technical indicators of
threat activity
* Ability to write clear and concise analytical information products
* Ability to prepare and present research findings in both client
and public settings
* Ability to maintain or develop professional contacts in the
cybersecurity

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
* Knowledge of cyberthreats to the network
* Knowledge of log formats for syslog, http logs, DB logs and how to
gather forensics for traceability back to event, working knowledge of
databases, query design, and how to analyze queried data
* Knowledge of packet capture and analysis
* Understanding of controls implementation such as NIST **Apply on
the website** and/or ISO **Apply on the website**
* Experience with log management or security information management
tools
* Ability to make technology risk determinations based on threat
intelligence analysis
* Working knowledge of how malicious code operates and how technical
vulnerabilities are exploited
* Working knowledge of operating systems and networking technologies

THE VALUE YOU DELIVER

This position requires knowledge of the intelligence cycle relating to
cyberthreats.Candidate must understand MITRE ATT&CK Framework and
threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) related to
exploiting network-based controls.Based on deep knowledge of
cybersecurity programs and business unit needs, candidate will:
* Analyze threat information from a variety of internal and external
sources to provide actionable intelligence relating to cryptography,
access control, internetworking services, and protocols (Domain Name
System, Virtual Private Networking, Voice-Over IP, Border Gateway
Protocol, IPv6, and Remote Desktop Protocol).
* Coordinate and produce intelligence products to inform, maintain
and enhance Fidelity?s Cybersecurity program. With direction develop
the cyber security collection posture statements and the information
collection requirements.
* Support operations responding to cyber incidents by providing
insightful research and analysis.
* Produce intelligence reporting, coordinate findings and analysis,
and brief analysis to incident managers, peers, and senior leaders.
* Assist analysts and incident response staff and cyber
investigations. Identify and assess the capabilities and activities of
cybercriminals.
* Work as a team member to ensure indications of compromise are
promptly identified and stakeholders are informed with actionable and
complete information.
