BETTER REQUIRES PROCESS, DISCIPLINE, AND SIMPLIFICATION

As a senior member of our Business Legal Team, you will be advising
the European part of our business, the regional entity boards and
other internal stakeholders. As the expert on key European regulations
and regulatory developments, you are also familiar with strategic
licensing and AML requirements. You will be working cross-functionally
to liaise with relevant regulators across Europe and provide general
legal assistance. As part of your role, you will research, analyze and
monitor new and existing laws in order to stay current and advise the
business and senior legal leadership on changes to the regulatory and
competitive environments in the EU. You&#**Apply on the website**;ll
help research and monitor new and existing laws in coordination with
local counsel and compliance colleagues. You&#**Apply on the
website**;ll assist with regulatory initiatives including the
preparation of regulatory communications, handling of regulatory
inspections and proceedings, and regulatory relationship management.

For you to be successful in this pan-European role, you need deep
experience in delivering strategic legal support with a strong focus
on financial services or the payments industries, which you might have
gained in a law firm or a corporate legal department. You&#**Apply on
the website**;ll need to hold a Law degree and be a fully qualified
lawyer with extensive post-qualification experience, and experience
managing outside counsel. You&#**Apply on the website**;ll have a
proven track record of holding positions of advancing responsibility
and interfacing with high-level executives. You need to be experienced
in dealing with complex regulatory issues in Europe, with a particular
focus on European banking regulation, Payment Service Directives and
MiFID. Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is
also desirable.
