DESCRIPTION:

SKS Communications is a leading supplier for over **Apply on the
website** years of CCTV, Access Control, Audio Visual systems,
Conference systems, Sound Reinforcement and Voice Alarm systems,
Induction Loops, Microwave Links, Fibre Optic Transmission and IP
Networks Solutions nationwide.

Due to continued success the company is seeking to recruit an AV
Technician (Installation/Commissioning).The company is looking to
expand the organisation and giving someone a great opportunity to work
in an ever-changing environment.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years&#**Apply on the website**;
experience working in the installation of Audio-Visual systems.Have
significant knowledge based on training and work experience, on all
aspects of Audio-Visualsystems including sound reinforcement system
set up. A third level Audio, Information technology, Electrical or
Electronic qualification would be an advantage. The knowledge and
skills referred toabove may have been gained in either the current or
previous employment or other setting. Anunderstanding of computer
networks is a desirable.

JOB ROLE (not limited to):

Installation, configuration and commissioning services on PA and AV
systems.

Carry out customer service calls and communicate with customers on
outcomes and recommendations.

To carry out routine preventative maintenance checks on systems and
produce systemstatus reports.

Complete job sheets and reports for service calls.

Carry out workshop repairs and liaise with suppliers on faults and
warranty issues.

Complete reports for workshop repairs.

Assemble and modify equipment and systems.

Participate in the preparation of safe working plans, method
statements and risk assessments.

Provide on-site support and operation for clients as required.

Technicians employed in an AV technician role will be required to
travel to and work in locations nationwide.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Clear logical thinker and able to work under pressure

Flexible, organised, with good attention to detail

Excellent team player, and able to work on own initiative

Excellent customer service skills

Must be willing to work overtime if required

Full clean driving licence

This position requires full Garda vetting
