The Daughters of Charity Community Services (DoCCS), located at 9
Henrietta Street, Dublin 1, is a community-based organisation
providing a range of educational, training and social care services
for children, young people and adults living in Dublin?s North Inner
City. Our services are targeted to individuals and families
experiencing socio-economic and educational disadvantage.

1. YOGA INSTRUCTOR:
The Henrietta Adult and Community Education (HACE) service are seeking
a fully qualified, professional and enthusiastic Yoga instructor who
is passionate about providing effective, evidence-based classes in
line with current guidelines and best practice.
The tutor would be required to work with a group of adults from the
North Inner City for two one hour classes back to back. The first
class is for beginners and the second class is aimed towards
improvers.
The 2 groups of 5 adults meet on a Monday evening.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
* Have the ability to demonstrate and teach a variety of Yoga
postures
* Develop the skills of the groups in Yoga
* Communicate well with the group
* Communicate with the manager of the Community Education Centre
around any issues arising
* Ensure the work is learner centred and all learners are
facilitated to participate.
* Increase confidence and ability of the group to participate in a
group learning environment.
CONTRACT: September to December term. The class will run for the term
and the amount of weeks offered to applicants will depend on when the
role is filled.

HOURS OF WORK: 2 Hours per week on a Monday 6.**Apply on the

relation to the day of the Yoga course.

2. FLOWER ARRANGING INSTRUCTOR:
The Henrietta Adult and Community Education (HACE) service is looking
for a creative and driven instructor for our Flower Arranging course
which runs one evening per week from September to December.
The facilitator would be required to facilitate and work with a group
of adults from the North Inner city and demonstrate a variety of
floral arrangements.
The group of 5 adults meet on a Tuesday evening.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
* Have the ability to demonstrate a variety of Floral arrangements
* Develop the skills of the group in Floral Arrangement
* Communicate well with the group
* Communicate with the manager of the Community Education Centre
around any issues arising
* Ensure the work is learner centred and all learners are
facilitated to participate
* Increase confidence and ability of the group to participate in a
group learning environment

3. RELIEF EARLY YEARS? PRACTITIONER
St. Mary?s Early Years? service is one of the services within
Daughters of Charity Community Services. Located at 9 Henrietta
Street, Dublin 1, we provide a range of educational, training and
social care services for children, young people, adults, and older
people. Our services are targeted to individuals and families in the
North Inner City who are experiencing socio-economic and educational
disadvantage, and social exclusion.
RELIEF EARLY YEARS? PRACTITIONERS ? VARIOUS HOURS
* Early Years Childcare Practitioner - Relief Staff (On needs basis)
Working hours: Hours will vary based on the needs present in the
service. Relief staff can refuse work if unavailable which will not
affect their position on the relief panel

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
ESSENTIAL
* A relevant third level qualification in the field of Early
Childhood Care & Education (a MINIMUM QQI Level 5 or relevant
equivalent is required)
* A passion for working with young children and their families
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Strong organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple
work tasks and a busy environment
DESIRABLE
* Experience working in an Early Years setting: experience of working
in a community-based Early Years? Service would be a distinct
advantage
* A working knowledge of dealing with child protection concerns
* Experience and training in S?olta & Aistear
