Position: Credit Collections & Payments Team Lead

JOB TYPE: PERMANENT

POSITION DESCRIPTION

across England, Scotland and Wales. Delivering a digital first
approach, our business will focus on building innovative energy

The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing debt
and payment activities for our ESB Energy customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for ESB Energy Debt Book and for the delivery of
specific key Credit Management metrics
* Developing and implementing ESB Energy Credit Management process
improvements and policies in line with best practice
* Ongoing liaison with our Regulation team to ensure compliance with
OFGEM requirements
* Train & Manage the ESB Energy Credit Collections & Payments Team
to deliver optimum collections performance
* Management of our standard operating and training procedures for
ESB Energy Credit Control and Payments processes
* Undertaking compliance monitoring of the ESB Energy Credit Control
and Payments activity
* Compilation and analysis of data and report preparation for all
ESB Energy customers
* Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external
stakeholder e.g. Debt Collection Agencies and Payments Partners etc
* Manage daily huddles and proactively support the CCI programme to
continuously improve the customer journey and strive to maintain high
Trust Pilot customer satisfaction scores and Citizens Advice Ratings
* Managing, reporting and sign off on all related risk and controls
* Managing and delivering all IT system testing e.g. billing system
upgrades/releases
* Participation in Credit Collections & Payments projects as
required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL
* Minimum of 3 years? experience in a similar role
* Previous experience of residential debt management for a service
supplier and associated collection paths
* A high level of commitment and flexibility
* Leadership and relationship management skills
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Strong demonstrable commercial focus
* Proven track record in delivery of excellent customer service
* An ability to understand the market environment
* Good judgement and decision-making skills
* Analytical ability
* Advanced experience in MS Office packages

DESIRABLE
* Experience in various payment methods and paths ? credit, prepay,
arrears.
* Salesforce Omni Channel Experience
* Experience in the GB Energy market

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL
* A relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience is
essential.

LOCATION

The role is based in ESB Energy HQ in Santry, Dublin 9.

REPORTING TO

The successful candidate will report to Billing, Credit & Payments
Manager.
