Position: Area Manager - Dublin South West

based in the ROI. As an Area Manager you are responsible for your own
dedicated geographic territory. The job role provides an opportunity
for you to lead and develop your own team of carers to provide
exemplary care in the community. Due to the nature of your role, hours
are understood to be flexible.

YOU WILL HAVE WIDE RANGING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING:
MANAGING A TEAM OF HOMECARE STAFF RESPONSIBLE FOR CARING FOR
INDIVIDUALS LIVING AT HOME DRAWING UP CARE PLANS AND SETTING UP CARE
FOR NEW CLIENTS LIAISING WITH CLIENTS ON AN ONGOING BASIS PROVIDING
SUPPORT TO CARE WORKERS AND ALONG WITH A CARE SUPPORT LEAD, CARRYING
OUT REVIEWS, SPOT-CHECKS AND PROVIDING ON THE JOB TRAINING DEVELOPING
STRONG SUSTAINABLE RELATIONSHIPS WITH HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS
INCLUDING PUBLIC HEALTH NURSES, HOSPITAL STAFF AND G.P?S FOLLOWING
UP ON ALL ENQUIRIES WITH APPROPRIATE CORRESPONDENCE CONDUCTING FACE TO
FACE MEETINGS WITH CLIENTS AND DECISION MAKERS AS REQUIRED IDENTIFYING
FUTURE AREAS OF GROWTH AND OPPORTUNITY FOR THE COMPANY ENSURING THAT
ALL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES ARE CARRIED OUT CORRECTLY AND OVERSEEING
THE SUPERVISION OF CARERS ENSURING THE CORRECT DISSEMINATION OF
INFORMATION TO RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS

YOU WILL:
HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HOMECARE FULL QQI LEVEL 5 IN
HEALTHCARE AND QQI LEVEL 6 SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT. (OR WORKING
TOWARDS) BE DYNAMIC, AUTONOMOUS AND A SELF-STARTER BE ORGANISED AND
ABLE TO MOTIVATE HAVE A PROFESSIONAL DEMEANOUR AND PRESENTATION HAVE A
GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS AND PEOPLE WITH AN ABILITY TO
NETWORK EXCELLENT IT SKILLS FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OUTSIDE NORMAL WORKING
HOURS IF NECESSARY
