Saint John of God Community Services clg Liffey Services provide
services in South West Dublin. Our aim is to support and empower
people with intellectual disabilities to be active participants in

Applications are invited for the following positions across our Dublin
South- locations;

1. CNM1 - DAY SERVICES _(REF NO.: MSCNM1OCT**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**)_

PERMANENT - FULL TIME

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

* Current registration as maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery
Board of Ireland and preferably possess the RNID qualification
* Knowledge and ability to practice, promote and coordinate
scrupulous infection prevention & control (IPC) in the workplace
* Training and experience in leadership and change management
* A proven ability to pro-actively lead, motivate and manage a staff
team.
* Experience of working with adults with high support needs
* At least 3 years? experience of supporting adults with
Intellectual Disabilities
* Experience in working with individuals with varying support needs
including individuals with complex needs / ASD / Dementia
* A clear vision and understanding of the implementation strategy
and future direction for adult day services in line with HSE New
Directions National Policy
* Knowledge and experience in Person Centred Planning and
individualised supports in line with best practice
* Proven ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative when
supporting and maintaining meaningful community involvement that
result in positive social roles for people supported
* An understanding of the importance of natural support networks
* Knowledge and / or experience in the use of Assistive Technology
* Experience and in-depth knowledge of national HSE policy on
Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, ICT and organisational
skills
* Ability to collate, analyse and plan with data relating Quality,
Safety and Governance to ensure better outcomes for people supported.
* A full clean Driver?s License (manual) and a commitment to drive
as part of the role.
* Experience in Positive Behavior Support
* Demonstrate evidence of continued commitment to professional
development

2. PROGRAMME SUPERVISOR - DAY SERVICES _(REF NO.: MSSOCT**APPLY ON THE
WEBSITE**)_

PERMANENT - FULL TIME & SPECIFIED PURPOSE ? FULL TIME

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

* A relevant third level qualification in the area of Health, Social
Care or Training and Education minimum full QQI Level 8
* Training and experience in leadership and change management
* At least 2 years? experience of working with adults with
Intellectual Disabilities
* Experience in working with individuals with varying support needs
including individuals with complex needs / ASD / Dementia / Positive
Behaviour Support Plans
* A clear vision and understanding of the implementation strategy
and future direction for adult day services in line with HSE New
Directions National Policy
* Knowledge and experience in Person Centred Planning, and
individualised supports in line with best practice
* Proven ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative when
supporting and maintaining meaningful community involvement that
result in positive social roles for people supported
* An understanding of the importance of natural support networks
* Knowledge and / or experience in the use of Assistive Technology
* Experience and in-depth knowledge of national HSE policy on
Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons.
* A proven track record in meeting targets and standards
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, ICT and organisational
skills
* Ability to collate, analyse and plan with data relating Quality,
Safety and Governance to ensure better outcomes for people supported.
* A full clean Driver?s Manual License and a commitment to drive
as part of the role.

3. INSTRUCTORS ? DAY SERVICES _(REF NO.: MSINS**APPLY ON THE
WEBSITE**)_

PERMANENT - FULL TIME, PART-TIME & RELIEF

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

* Relevant third level qualification in Social Care, Education,
Training, etc. (QQI Level 6 Major Award or higher)
* Ideally 1 year of working with people with Support Needs,
preferably intellectual disability
* Enthusiasm, creativity, flexibility and empathy for working with
people across the spectrum of intellectual disabilities.
* Knowledge of and commitment to adhering to high levels of
infection prevention and control in the course of their work
* Experience in Person Centred Planning and individualised services
and supports
* Experience in Positive Behaviour Supports.
* Willingness to support individuals in their personal care if
required
* Knowledge of HSE National Policy of Safeguarding Vulnerable
Persons.
* A commitment to HSE New Directions Policy.
* The initiative and ability to support individuals with a
disability to have valued social roles and become active citizens
accessing mainstream services within the local and wider community.
* An awareness and understanding of alternative communication aids
and assistive technology.
* Proficient Information, Communication and Technologies (ICT)
skills
* Full clean manual driving licence and a willingness to drive as
part of role.
