Munster region. They are seeking a Sales Manager with strategic vision
and proven people engagement and management skills to further grow the

Opportunity
This opportunity will require you to work closely with the General
Manager and other members of the management team, plus the existing
sales team, to manage all existing clients and to develop new business
in the region. Core products span across beef, dairy, calf, and sheep
rations. You will be expected to contribute innovative proposals and
solutions to the business especially in the new product development,
customer management, and sales development space.
Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing and improving on the existing sales strategy
*
Reviewing and improving the skills and processes within the existing
sales team
*
Engaging with all customers and understanding where the business can
improve from their perspective
*
Monitoring the performance of the sales team and improve margins and
volume
*
Devise and drive the execution of a plan for the development of new
business with both existing and new customers
Requirements
*
Have a competent technical knowledge of animal feed and its role in
enhancing farmer profitability
*
Have a demonstratable successful track record of selling into the
animal feed or related area and can demonstrate you understand the
market
*
Be a driven and confident individual with strong people management
skills
*
Enjoy the challenge of new opportunities and show conviction that can
drive change
*
Excellent communication skills
*
Possess relevant IT skills
*
Agricultural Science degree or other relevant qualification desirable
