Conservation Ranger

There are Conservation Ranger vacancies with the Department of
Housing, Local Government and Heritage. Successful candidates will be
employed on a full-time basis and work in a role that is challenging,
diverse and rewarding.

Conservation Rangers work as part of the team of regional National
Parks and Wildlife Service staff of the Department. This team is
responsible for implementing nature policies throughout the country.
Much of the Conservation Ranger&#**Apply on the website**;s time is
spent working in the field to assist in this goal.

Conservation Rangers are the public face of the Department on
conservation management, monitoring species and habitats, compliance,
and dealing with the general public.

Successful candidates must have relevant experience in wildlife
management or nature conservation. They must also have good IT and
report writing skills with an ability to work on their own initiative.
