Senior Narrative Designer

full-timeSenior Narrative Designerto join ourDesignteam in Adelaide,
South Australia!

The Senior Narrative Designer will create and design credible and
consistent narrative structures, contribute to storytelling,
cinematics developmentand in-game writing,provide guidance toourDesign
Team andwill make sure to create and work on narrative structures in
line with the Creative Directors vision. This is a senior
creativerole,and you will have a major impact on the shape and success
of our existing and new IPs.

The studio is based in Adelaide and this position may be offered as
remote for the right candidate. The candidate must have the right to
work in Australia.

Responsibilities:
Join the narrative team in the world building, character creation and
story development of Mighty Kingdom original products and established
IP from around the world Work closely with the Creative Director,
Product Manager and Design Team to curate ideas, effectively follow a
brief and receive/give constructive critique Participate in scoping
and planning of future narrative needs. Make necessary
changestonarrativeprocessesthroughoutproduction according to
feedbackandtoprovide a consistent narrative experience and desired
player experience Participate in mentoring and educating other team
members and collaborating with other team members to ensure positive
communication and creative problem-solving Utilise in-house tools to
contribute to the creation of in-game cinematics Take ownership and
guide complicated narrative discussions to ensurebest player
experience Develop and maintain narrative documents that clearly
communicates toa broad multidisciplinedteam

Qualifications / Experience:
Minimum of5yearsofexperiencein narrative design and storytellingor
equivalent Proficient writing skills, with knowledge or experience in
writing for games or similar entertainment mediums Proven ability to
be adaptable to a broad range of genres and writing styles Critical
thinking skills and the ability to collate and iterate on ideas to
come up with design-viable solutions. Excellent communication,creative
collaboration and decision-making skills Solid understanding ofa
market andplayer experience and ability to write for a variety of
audiences Solid experience working with Unity and ability to learn and
use in-house tools to create and implement your content A passion to
work in a collaborative environmentand mentoring and educating fellow
team members A strong work ethic andapositive attitude
