integrated voice capabilities be they our own or partner voice
solutions in a global environment become more complex.

As the Director of Product, Talk you will be responsible for all
things related to voice communications in Zendesk. You will chart the
continued path of delivering voice as part of our omnichannel
communications solutions in a global environment. You will lead a team
of PMs and partner with the strong engineering leads to deliver the
future of voice in Zendesk.

You will obsess on the end user and agent experiences removing
obstacles to seamless voice support and the ability to switch from one
channel to another.

You will be an integral part of the team working with our telephony
provider across compliance, product features, support and reliability.

Partner integrations are an important option our customers have to
choose from especially for more complex Enterprise level needs. . You
will work closely with our Technical Alliance teams and our partners
to ensure we are delivering the interfaces for them to deliver great
immersive experiences through their integrations.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO EVERY DAY:

Work with engineering counterparts to drive Zendesk?s telephony
vision across our own solution and the integration of partners, and
work closely with engineering and product leadership to set goals and
landmarks to achieve that vision.

*
Work with the product teams on how telephony fits into the omnichannel
vision and contribute to and deliver on this vision.

*
Grow and manage a team of Product Managers, providing mentorship and
career development for a team of PMs already in place, while growing
the team over time.

*
Drive priority planning within the Talk teams to develop and deliver
upon a roadmap that aligns with customer requirements.

*
Develop and drive the implementation of Product Management processes
within your org and contribute to the wider Product Management org
within Zendesk.

*
Partner closely with our customer success, customer support, sales,
legal, security, and compliance teams to bring a customer-focused
approach to our voice capabilities.

*
Work closely with our telephony service provider ensuring they are
delivering to our needs across product, support and reliability.

*
Engage and work with our Tech Alliances teams and telephony partners
to understand how we can enable them to build deeper integrations to
deliver enhanced customer value.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
*
Experience with large-scale enterprise software and engineering
productivity preferred.

*
At least 5 years of proven experience in people management delivering
software within high paced, agile software-as-a-service environments,
preferably in the B2B enterprise space; including daily interactions
with software developers.

*
You are technical enough to empathize with Zendesk engineers,
collaborate on technical decisions with infrastructure teams, and help
set a technology vision with your engineering partners.

*
Innately passionate about delivering telephony based customer
experiences and looking at new technologies.

*
Ability to set the direction and lead a large team without a lot of
oversight.

*
Ability to lead projects autonomously.

*
Experience presenting your ideas to influence other key team members,
including executives and other product and engineering leaders.

*
Proven product leadership and the ability to make decisions without
perfect information.

*
Willingness to travel occasionally to San Francisco, CA, Melbourne,
Australia and Dublin, Ireland to collaborate with other Zendesk teams.
