ARCHWAYS IS SEEKING TO RECRUIT A DYNAMIC AND INNOVATIVE CEO TO LEAD
THE ORGANISATION IN DELIVERING OUR NEW STRATEGIC PLAN AND GROWING OUR
ORGANISATION

Archways is a not-for-profit organisation which was set up in **Apply
on the website** with funding from The Atlantic Philanthropies. The
organisation was set up to improve the lives of children and families
experiencing difficulties by identifying, delivering and evaluating
evidence-based programmes which could support them. Since we were
established, we have introduced 3 evidence-based programmes - the
Incredible Years programme, Functional Family Therapy, and the
Mentoring for Achievement Programme. These have been rolled out to
thousands of families throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland. We also
deliver the Area-based Initiative for children in the Clondalkin area.
In recent years we have developed a number of exciting new
evidence-informed programmes and services to meet new and emerging
needs including: The Changing Lives programme for families with a
child with symptoms of ADHD, the Reach Out programme for fathers in
Mountjoy prison, the Preparing to Parent antenatal programme, and
anxiety workshops for parents and teachers concerned about anxiety
amongst young people.

Archways currently has a staff of **Apply on the website** people and
a budget of ?1.8 million. The CEO will report directly to the
Archways Board of trustees and will be responsible for the following:

* The overall management, control and operation of Archways in
accordance with the policies and objectives set out by the Board and
in compliance with good governance and all statutory and regulatory
obligations
* The leadership and implementation of Archways Strategic Plan

* The overall planning, development, implementation and monitoring
of Archways programmes for children, families and communities
* Achieving annual key performance indicators to secure the overall
objectives of the strategic plan
* Ensuring excellent governance policies, procedures, and practices
within the organisation at all times
* The effective leadership, development and management of the staff
team, including recruitment, supervision and performance reviews
* Managing effective relationships with state agencies,
philanthropic organisations, other not-for-profit, voluntary and
community agencies in the delivery and advancement of Archways
strategic portfolio of programmes
* The maintenance of all administrative and financial systems and
records of the organisation in compliance with GDPR and ensuring
required reports and documentation are accurate and completed as
required and within deadlines
* The overseeing of the financial viability and management of
Archways budget, being proactive in seeking funding opportunities and
keeping the board advised of any financial matters impacting on
Archways
* The representation of Archways at public events and relevant
committees and networks

The CEO is based at Archways Offices at 7&8 Oakfield Industrial
Estate, Clondalkin, though working from other locations may be
required from time to time. The successful candidate will be a car
owner and hold a current clean driving license. Salary for the post
will be competitive and commensurate with the experience of the
successful candidate.
