PURPOSE OF ROLE
L?Arche Cork is looking for an energetic and passionate Day Service
Coordinator to work alongside the senior management team, day service
staff, day service attendees, house leaders and external experts, to
oversee and manage a programme of exciting change within the Day
Service in L?Arche Cork. This is a great opportunity for someone who
is seeking to have a meaningful impact in ensuring that Day Service
attendees have a range of day service opportunities which enable them
to have meaningful and satisfying lives, of their choosing. It is also
the opportunity for you to be involved in building community and
belonging within L?Arche Cork and providing a space where nobody is
left behind.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* A minimum of 3 years? experience post qualification in working
directly with adults with an intellectual disability
* Commitment to team working and working within a multi-disciplinary
team.
* Ability to lead planned multidisciplinary workshops/activities
within a team to deliver projects within agreed deadlines and
timeframes.
* A working knowledge of health and Safety policies and regulations
* A working knowledge of New Directions,
* Experience in carrying out formal supervisions with employees.
* Must be able to demonstrate sufficient evidence of leadership,
communication, interpersonal, organisational, and decision-making
skills.
* Effective time management skills.
* Full drivers licence required.
