Pay plan is a key commercial lever in any business and great analysis
drives the business to make the best decisions for us and our
customers. The market, regulation, new launches all play a part is
needing to do something different to what we have done before; using
data driven insight to get us there. This role holder will set the pay
plan design principles for BT Enterprise.
YOU**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**;LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES
* Applies specialist technical expertise to ensure consistent,
successful and rigorous design of pay plan across Enterprise; aligned
to strategy and medium term plan.
* Creating the ?rules? of the game for pay plan. This includes
setting strategic direction for pay plan ? where we should invest
vs. pull back and road map to get there, align current year pay plan
to strategy recommending metrics to reward/measure.
* Ensure effective design of pay-plan and commissions including
detailed allocation for the sales channels aligned to group reward
frameworks.
* Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the pay plan and
commissions including reviewing performance, identifying opportunities
for change and cost efficiency.
* Design and maintain the pay plan, incentives and commissions for
the sales channels and the frameworks for the commercial business
partners to align targets to.
* Driving standardisation across Enterprise, but designing
frameworks which enable flexibility.
* Set and continually evolve the frameworks and governance across
pay plan/ incentives.
* Work collaboratively bringing key stakeholders together to make
the right commercial decision and ensures pay plan design expertise is
available and utilised across the segments.
* Being curious and creative in approach to driving value in area of
responsibility, taking account of market, industry best practice,
regulatory environment and sales behaviour/ incentivisation dynamics.

EXPERIENCE
* Proven experience in commercial strategy (product, proposition,
commercial management, financial management) in a business with ~?6bn
revenues.
* Breadth of understanding of Wholesale and Retail markets, product
portfolios, customer bases, and competitors.
* Proven ability to manage, communicate with and influence multiple
senior stakeholders across various parts of the organisation.
* Experience in improving P&L performance from flexing reward
structure.
* Advanced user of Microsoft application including Excel and
PowerPoint.
