ROLE: ASSET QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Location: DUBLIN OR WATERFORD

Reporting to: DEPUTY HEAD OF HOUSING (ASSET MANAGEMENT)

Terms: PERMANENT TERM CONTRACT ? FULL TIME (MON TO FRI)

Job Purpose: TO ASSIST IN ENSURING THAT LEGAL AND REGULATORY
COMPLIANCE IS MAINTAINED IN A MANNER THAT HELPS MAXIMISE BUSINESS
OPPORTUNITY, AS WELL AS ENSURING THAT INTERNAL POLICIES ARE ADHERED
TO.

THE POST HOLDER WILL IMPLEMENT A QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND EMBED
THE SYSTEM INTO THE OPERATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assess risks and progress schemes swiftly and systematically to
overcome risks. Preparing and writing reports on schemes for EMT,
Committee and Board.
* Completion of gap analysis where appropriate and recommend/
implement changes including updating Compliance Policies, monitoring
plans and providing timely updates to the Deputy Head of Housing.
* Assist in the development and implementation of an integrated
quality management system (ISO or similar) for the Asset Management
Department.
* Provide advice and guidance to all areas of the business related
to compliance and risk.
* Ensuring schemes are developed in accordance with Respond Quality
Management Systems, to ensure consistency in approach to project
delivery.
* Consultation with all stakeholders including local authority
representatives, tenants, staff representing the client, community
representatives, etc.
* Attend regular internal monitoring meetings and provide relevant
reports.
* To monitor and manage complaints resolving issues and highlighting
trends where evident.
* To deputise for the Quality Compliance Manager when required.
* To Project Manage projects for both internal and external clients.
* To assist in the writing of bid information for new projects
outside Respond.
* To set, monitor and report on the KPI performance of consultants,
contractors and suppliers.
* Undertake and complete such training as required to perform the
duties of the job.
* Ensure compliance with all human resource related policies and
procedures.
* Promote and represent Respond Asset Management and its interests
with relevant outside bodies including attendance at meetings,
seminars and conferences to seek to extend links with all appropriate
external stakeholders.
* Comply with the requirements of the Data Protection, Equal
Opportunities and Equality Legislation.
* Undertake other occasional duties which are consistent with the
responsibilities of the post.
* Be responsible for establishing a pro-active approach to the
management of health and safety within the department and ensuring the
highest standards are achieved.
