Field Compliance Officer
Field Compliance Officer - Amgen -Dublin

Our Client is Amgen and the role will be based in their Dun Laoghaire plant. The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.

Job Description
The Field Compliance Officer supports the safety planning process for contractor activities.  Provides oversight of contractor field activities as required to ensure compliance with EHS requirements. Reviews Job Hazard Analyses submitted by contractors to ensure completeness and alignment with site EHS programs.  Reports to the Contractor EHS Program Manager.
Core Responsibilities:
• Support Safety Planning process by providing guidance on Method Statements development, including hazards identification and proposed control measures.
• Provide Safety Induction Training for new contractor employees on Amgen Contractor EHS Guidelines.
• Responsible for review and acceptance of safety planning documents (e.g., Method statements, Rigging Plans, Excavation Plans, etc.) for all contractor related activities.
• Responsible for field inspections to identify violations to safety plan requirements or established ADL EHS practices.
• Support contractors on the resolution of safety violations to bring them into compliance with established AML EHS practices.
• Support incident investigations to determine root causes and corrective action alternatives.
• Responsible for documentation of safety inspection and incidents through the INCA (electronic)system.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Contractor EHS Program Manager.
Core Competencies:
• Communication: Displays good written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
• Problem Solving: Analyzes situations and makes sound recommendations in a timely manner to facilitate management decisions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Tactful and mature demeanor with well good ability to work well with diverse personalities.

Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree (Engineering preferable)
• Knowledge of OSHA Construction Industry Regulations (30-hr OSHA Training or equivalent)
• At least 5 years experience in field construction activities

Package:
Minimum 4 month contract
Rate €50 - €60 per hour
