Job Description:
Amgen's Engineering Department are looking for 2 senior process/mechanical project engineers for a long term contract, possible with a view to being made permanent.
The Senior Process Engineer will have in-depth knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools, techniques, and methodologies and practical experience applying them to improve the performance of processes, people, and systems. The Process Engineer will engage with internal customers to support their efforts to:
• Perform turnover Walkdowns
• Troubleshooting during Start-up & Commissioning
• Engineering Change Control Management
• Perform analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to management.
• Support teams assigned to implementing the recommendations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of directly related experience OR Associate’s degree & 15 years of directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications Degree (Science, Engineering, MBA) with directly related experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
Competencies / Skills:
• Must be proficient in reading P&IDs
• Experience with plant and clean utility systems
• Technical Owner of equipment and processes
