The candidate will be responsible for development & delivery of the Automation scope of the IS Program for Disaster Recovery.
Responsibilities include:
1. Liaising with the IS system owners to identify:
a) critical system components
b) required backups – platform / application / configuration / data
2. Definition of the backup strategy for each system with the objective of minimising impact of system component failure and minimising recovery time
3. Development of project plan for delivery of the backup strategy
4. Liaising with IS DRP Program Project Manager to develop project schedule
5. Development & testing of all procedures and other support documents required by the strategy
Candidates should demonstrate technical, project and interpersonal skills, including but not limited to the following:
client interfacing and resolution of client concerns, solution definition, proactive support and resolution of issues, technical guidance from concept to delivery, system delivery, commissioning and validation.
Individual must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the delivery and management of Automation systems in addition to a working knowledge of GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA-S88 industry standards.
Requirements:
Experience in development and delivery of system procedures including Backup & Restore and Disaster Recovery.
Experience with Siemens S7 and Proficy iFix is required.
Experience with Proficy iHistorian, Wonderware Intouch, Rockwell Automation Contrologix is advantageous.
Education requirements are a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information SysJob Description
