CANAL COMMUNITIES REGIONAL YOUTH SERVICE (CCRYS) / BLUEBELL YOUTH
PROJECT

Our mission in Bluebell Youth Project is to engage and involve young
people from Bluebell and the Canal Community to make a positive
difference in their lives, their community and society.

We aim to provide an open, safe, supportive, creative and education
space for young people to explore their own self-worth and identity.
As well as personal development.

We provide a wide range of different spaces, programs, and activities.
From Drop In, Music program, art, Personal development group work, One
to one, Youth Clubs, seasonal spaces and more.

CCRYS now wishes to recruit a Youth Worker (full time **Apply on the
website** hours per week) with pacific focus on the area of Drug and
Alcohol use and its impacts and those Young people most at risk in the
community.

The ideal candidate will have a real commitment to the ethos and
values of the CCRYS/ Bluebell YP and fit one of the following two
profile requirements:

A professionally endorsed qualification in Youth and Community Work is
essential (NSETS)
or
An equivalent professional qualification or relevant degree, plus
three years full time experience of working with young people at risk
is essential

In addition to the above, the candidate will demonstrate a strong
knowledge and understanding of youth work, have a proven track record
of relevant experience and possess a range of practical skills and
attributes suited to the position.

Salary Scale: City of Dublin Youth Service Board Youth Worker
