Department,focusesonprovidingassistanceto
theteammanagersinrunningclientportfolios. Key responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day bookkeeping and administration services to a
portfolio of Debt/VAT clients and structures, ensuring compliance with
internal policies and procedures; client and statutory reporting
deadlines;
Be responsible for managing a portfolio of VAT clients including all
aspects of VAT and administration;
Processing of all client VAT return filings due in a timely manner
(bi-monthly, quarterly, bi annual, annual filings);
Ensure client responsibilities are managed effectively and to agreed
client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines;
Ensuring that all day-to-day matters required to be completed are
performed in a timely and satisfactory manner including monitoring
tasks;
Preparation of management accounts and financial statements in
compliance with GAAP (IFRS and FRS

Working closely with the team to ensure that accounting records are
accurate and transactions and activity within the entities are
understood and incorporated into the accounting ledgers as
appropriate;
Accurate time recording and perform other duties to support the
Manager and team as may be necessary from time-to-time;
Any other duties in the scope of the role that the company requires.
_REQUIREMENTS_ Skills / experience required:
Bookkeeping experience;
Third level degree;
Structural and detail orientated;
Good analytical and problem solving skills;
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;
Ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines;
Excellent communication and organisation skills;
Basic working knowledge of IFRS and Irish GAAP would be advantageous;
Motivated and driven;
Experience in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of VAT clients
would be advantageous but not a prerequisite;
Previous knowledge or experience of VAT desirable but not essential;
We will support a Tax/Accounting professional qualification such as
CTA or ACCA with this role, candidates may have already commenced some
of the modules;
Proficient in MS Excel; structural and detail orientated. :
