Mental Health Ireland (MHI) is a national voluntary organisation
promoting positive mental health, wellbeing & recovery using a process
called coproduction to ensure that the voices of the end user are
heard at all stages of programme development, delivery and evaluation.
Our network of volunteer led Mental Health Associations (MHAs) active
throughout the country is supported by a dynamic staff team.

Operations Manager will play a key role in this endeavour. All our

THE ROLE:

As a member of Mental Health Ireland?s Management Team, the
Operations Manager will work closely with the CEO, Deputy CEO and
Senior Managers by leading on: Governance, Administration, HR and
recruitment, ICT, Facilities Management, Policy development and
implementation, Staff Engagement, Remuneration, Quality Audit and
Reviews.

The successful candidate should ideally have strong management and
leadership skills with experience in office administration, human
resource management, strategic planning, working with Board Members,
policy development and implementation, event management and strong
knowledge of CRM systems, HR information systems, and ICT business
supports.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Mental Health Ireland are seeking an experienced individual who can
lead and energise a team, work effectively across departments,
interact with all stakeholders - Board Members, funders, and
Government Departments, can take new initiatives across the full arc
from concept through to realisation and evaluation.

_SIX PRIMARY PILLARS OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS ROLE CONSIST OF:_

* ADMINISTRATION MANAGER - Manage the Process, Policy &
Infrastructure operations of the Head Office in line with MHI
Strategy. Logistical support to Board Meetings, Board papers and
packs.
* ICT Future proof the ICT infrastructure of the organisation.
Support (Networks, Communication, Hardware and Systems - supporting
standard Business & Office systems, Cloud, Salesforce CRM Superuser
and related systems.
* HR ? Managing HR Executive who manages Recruitment; Health &
Safety, Staff Development, CPD, Garda Vetting, file and log
Performance Reviews.
* SUPPORT GOVERNANCE & RISK COMMITTEE, working directly with the
Governance & Risk Group of Board Members, management and control of
the Risk Register.
* ORGANISATIONAL POLICY DEVELOPMENT and review - maintaining the
catalogue of MHI's policy suite and ensuring scheduled Board refresh
and approval processes.
* STAFF WELL BEING & DEVELOPMENT IN LINE WITH MHI MISSION VISION &
VALUES

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYENT:

The Operations Manager will be based in 2nd Floor, Marina House,

with the option for some remote working. The position is based on a
5-day week (**Apply on the website** hours), exclusive of lunch hours,
with flexible working hours including regular evening work and
occasional weekend working.

The salary for this post is analogous with Grade VII, HSE salary scale

offered on the basis of a three -year, fixed term, fixed purpose
contract of employment. Garda vetting is required for this position.
